Ballroom Classes
Over the months many parents have called to ask about dance lessons. Well here it is. A local opportunity for you and your kids to learn to dance! These Classes were created for those who are looking for a positive and fun filled creative activity. This class focuses on the most popular rhythm dances such as cha cha cha, rumba, waltz, polka, etc.
Dance Classes are fun when they are taught by a qualified instructor in a professional environment.

Competitions :
Now Ekaterina and her students are going to prepare for two competitions in February: one in Kentucky and one in Atlanta (The Annual Atlanta Elite Dance Championship. Organizer: Ekaterina Cooper).
These competitions will be a warm up for the main event of the year – The 2012 National DanceSport Championships that will take place in Baltimore in the end of March!!!
October, 2011 -Hotlanta Dance Challenge 2011
Earlier in October our little ballroom dancers - students of Ekaterina Copper - participated in the Hotlanta Dance Challenge 2011. The event took place at the Renaissance Airport hotel. Every year the best dancers from all over the country come to Atlanta to compete. This was the 15th Anniversary for this great competition.
Ekaterina helped 6 kid couples and 2 adults prepare for their competitive dance performances. They all did a fabulous job and were awarded many 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The Kids competed in different divisions. They were judged in single dance events (Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, and Jive) and multi-dance events.
Wilson Hobbs and Rachael Bondar won four 2nd places, one 3rd and one 4th ;
Max Hobbs and Ella Kolpakov: won one 3rd and one 4th place;
Denis Melnichenko and Victoria Simanovich: two 1st, two 2nd, two 3rd places;
Xavier and Gigi Barleywood: one 1st, one 3rd. It was their first competition!!!!
Max Hobbs and Allston Lewis: four 1st, two 2nd, and two 3rd;
Wilson Hobbs and Nicole Petrosky: two 1st, two 2nd. Wilson and Nicole also won the Latin Championship!!!
All kids danced in the 13 yr old and younger division! Our Ella Kolpakov was the youngest participator at Hotlanta and won awards against older kids!!!
Carson Flourney and Ekaterina Cooper: six 2nd places and one 4th;
Edd Nudd and Ekaterina Cooper: seven 2nd places.
